Amy Winehouse showed up at London's new City Burlesque Thursday night to support her former taxi driver father Mitch, who was showing off his singing chops at the venue's cabaret show.

He was sooned joined by Amy and the two sang a duet together. Mr. Winehouse said, "I'm exhausted but its brilliant to back up there with Amy and the old gang. It means a lot."

Later, Amy sat on an audience member's lap as she watched her dad perform.

So sweet! We're glad to see Amy looking happy and healthy again….And doing what she does best - singing!!

Before this weekend, M. Night Shyamalan had never been to a comic conference of any kind. But luckily for fans of the "Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" director, he made an exception for New York Comic Con 2010, where he turned out for an hour-long panel moderated by MTV's own Josh Horowitz. The panel was not to discuss the auteur's most recent cinematic endeavor, "The Last Airbender," however; instead, Night was on hand to reminisce about "Unbreakable," which -- believe it or not -- celebrates its 10-year anniversary this November.

Initially met with box office and critical disdain when it was released in 2000, Shyamalan's tale of a security guard (Bruce Willis) who discovers that he's a real-life comic-book hero, has come to be regarded as one of the finest superhero films ever put to celluloid.

During an illuminating panel discussion in the Javits Center's packed theater, Night talked about why he hasn't made "Unbreakable 2" (he said he felt like "a failure" after the film's icy reception), showed the audience never-before-seen story boards, and walked the crowd through his creative process.

It was like a session of Filmmaking 101, but with lots of funny anecdotes and some equally hilarious fan questions (this "Sixth Sense" query was our personal fave: "Why was he dead the whole time? It made me so mad.")

Shyamalan remained candid after the panel, joining MTV News in our skybox for a laid-back one-on-one in which he chatted about just how drastically the reaction to "Unbreakable" has changed over the years.

"It was initially hating," he laughed. "If we were hanging out back then, you would have heard: 'Oh, "Unbreakable" sucks! "Unbreakable" sucks!' You just hear them openly going at me about it. And then as time went on you hear them say, 'I know some people didn't like it, but I really loved it.' So it's a transition. It's almost like stages of mourning. Then you get to the place like four years later where people start running across traffic when I get out of a car -- you hear like tires screech actually happens -- and then people come running and be like, '"Unbreakable" is my favorite movie of all time! Wait right here; I'm going to buy a DVD. I'm like, 'I can't just stand in the parking lot while you go buy a DVD, but I appreciate it.'"

He continues: "It's almost like the group that didn't get the movie, or was disappointed that it wasn't a scary movie, got quiet, and the group that loved the movie, who was very quiet, became vocal. And now they run the show."

So does this mean Night will reassess his position on making that long-awaited "Unbreakable" sequel? While he won't give a definitive answer, we're hoping this weekend's outpouring of love for the film will provide him with some seriously "Unbreakable" incentive.

This may be a Gossip Girl spoiler of sorts but Taylor Momsen, who was kinda written off the show last season, was spotted on the NYC set of the show filming new scenes for an upcoming ep. For some reason, Taylor was photographed wearing a mask while she was on set:

It was once rumored that Taylor would be starring in her own GG spin-off show but that report has long since been debunked. At the end of last season, Momsen‘s character Jenny was shipped off to boarding school … but apparently, she’s back. Personally, I haven’t been missing Momsen on Gossip Girl and her return doesn’t really thrill me in the least. I’m much more entertained by the clever PENIS graffiti in the photo above than Taylor Momsen‘s misery-ridden face. Meh. I can take her or leave her.

According to E! and reports, “this all new adventure will give diehard Kardashian fans a-fly-on-the-wall experience as the girls launch another successful Dash Boutique and make New York City their playground,” says executive vice president Lisa Berger.

The Kardashian sisters are in the Big Apple filming their new reality show for the official opening of their newest project, DASH in New York City. This is exciting news for Kourtney, her baby’s daddy Scott Disick, and their adorable baby Mason!

Kourtney took to her Twitter account and tweeted the following:

“Mason, Kim, Scott and I arrived in NYC. So excited for some fall in the Big Apple. No place better.”

Kim joins the family of three and is excited to spend some time in NYC, too:

“Not only do I get to spend some quality time with Kourt, I also get to hang out with Masey as much as I want, I can’t imagine being away from him for so long! We’ll be filming the show over the next couple of months and capturing all the fun and drama that will no doubt unfold along the way.”

E!’s “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” is scheduled to make its debut sometime this year, in January 2011 following two seasons of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

It is said that Khloe will be staying in Los Angels to be with her hubby, LA Lakers Lamar Odom, but I’m sure we will be seeing her on their new show in the city!

I cannot wait for Kim and Kourtney Kardashian to Take New York by storm. What an incredible business move by bringing DASH to New York! Be sure to check out photos and a video clip as they arrive to their new stomping grounds!

No matter how much you dig Zach Galifianakis, you really can't appreciate his brand of humor without having seen at least one episode of "Between Two Ferns." In the latest "Ferns" episode, Bruce Willis gets cozy between the plants to promote "Red" (in theaters Friday), and is only slightly less awkward than previous guest Sean Penn.

There's a lot of Galifianakis talking in this one, and his deadpanned questions are probably the funniest he's had in any of Funny or Die web series. The best zinger? After asking Willis how many children he has ("three"), Galifianakis asks, "Which is your favorite? Ashton?"

It all leads up to an epic rant in which Willis talks about the high point of his career in the 1980s and inexplicably references to Anthropologie candles and women's painted toe nails clicking on Hollywood Boulevard. It's probably the most any guest has ever talked on the show... and is only overshadowed my the monumental fact that this episode marks the first time in the esteemed history of "Between Two Ferns" that the usually stone-faced Galifianakis actually breaks character and almost laughs. Now that's something worth seeing.

Earlier today we learned the surprising news that married couple Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman have been separated for some time now and I guessed that one or both of the would be issuing an official statement on the matter sometime today. And right on cue, here is the very short official statement from Xtina herself:

“Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”

I’m hearing that there is nothing legal about this split … no papers have been filed, no lawyers are involved … there is just trouble in paradise and Xtina and Jordy have decided to spend some time apart to try and see if they can work out their personal problems. I suppose we won’t be hearing anything new officially until either A.) the couple decides to get back together or B.) they decide to formally end their marriage. OY! I guess what they say is true, breaking up is hard to do.

It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas! Holiday albums will start to come out and Mariah Carey announces Christmas music will be released by her as well this year. Her ’94 CD was a hit, so the bar is set high. To get more details, with photos and videos of her songs, keep reading below.

This past weekend, while she celebrated her husband Nick Cannon’s 30th birthday, the song list was released. “Oh Santa” may be the new hit, and is available as a digital single today (Oct. 12th). Will this be the new song we get stuck in our head this season?

Her last album with the hit “All I Want for Christmas is You” became an instant classic. In August Mariah Carey announced Christmas music plans, including what would be the single. The finished product will be on sale November 2nd and I can imagine it will fly off the shelves.

She is going to do a new version of her old holiday favorite, and of course there is the new single. Other tunes we can celebrate with include “The First Noel” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” You can check out a photo of the cover here, with more details on the CD as well.

Other than working on this project, the music star has been in the news with pregnancy rumors surrounding her. All we keep hearing is that the couple wants to be parents, but they will not confirm or deny the story. Maybe they have more to celebrate this season? We will have to wait and see.

As for her music, I will definitely be checking this one out as her other holiday song is still my favorite to hear every year. I couldn’t picture Christmas without it. New York City's famed Radio City Music Hall is presenting two special screenings of "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" accompanied by live concert performances of Howard Shore's Grammy-winning score.

Under a 60-foot-wide screen, 300 musicians -- Switzerland's 21st Century Symphony Orchestra, the Grammy-winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus, the Dessoff Symphonic Choir and famed soprano Kaitlyn Lusk, all directed by Maestro Ludwig Wicki -- will perform the entire rousing, spine-tingling "Two Towers" soundtrack while Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli slay Orcs at Helm's deep, Merry, Pippin and the Ents attack Isengard, and Sam and Frodo trek toward Mount Doom (while sharing plenty of sentimental moments, of course).

British GQ’s sex symbol is Jessica Alba! Sagging breasts & cellulite from her pregnancy a few years ago have her feeling a little insecure. Her photo shoot would beg to differ! You can get all the details, with great pictures and videos below.

She sure looks great in that picture, and she’s even hotter in the photo shoot (video below). Her daughter, Honor, is now 2 years old and she does not love how it has changed her body. Maybe the GQ spread will change her mind!

Her and her husband, Cash Warren, seem to be as happy as could be. And they love being parents. It seems as time goes though there is something missed by Jessica Alba. Sagging breasts, cellulite and more curves are what she says she has gotten from being pregnant. Back in January, after she appeared on the cover of Self Magazine, she was happy about the change as it meant she was a mommy.

“Pregnancy was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had. So I’ll take the stretch marks. I’ll take the sagging boobs. I’ll take the cellulite I can never get rid of.”

She is definitely dedicated to her daughter and they are seen together all the time. She even took a break recently to hang out with her own mom. Overall she seems to love her life. But when she was recruited to be on the cover of the British GQ, she started wondering what people see in her.

“My breasts are saggy, I’ve got cellulite, my hips are bigger… every actress out there is more beautiful than me.”
